Cozy and friendly!
Cottage 1
8

stayed in cottage 1 for 2 nights. they gave us a welcome fruit juice which was the best ive had! beautiful flowers and plants all around. super funky awesome outdoor bathrooms. comfy bed. no ac but fan works no hot water but also not salt water. breakfast was great! only downside there was no communal area. internet didn't reach bedrooms. also it would be nice if there was beach front chairs for gili smile. all the other hotels next door did. could hear the mosque at 4am but not so loud. not next to the party area either which was nice. we would gladly stay here again!
Restaurant Tip: Eat at the night market! Cheap delicious and super local!

Perfect location, great little bungalow
Really great staff super close to the beach!

We really liked bungalow #2, it was quiet and private though if I were to stay there again I might chose one with AC during the hot months. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful and there is great snorkeling right across the tiny main street. We enjoyed it there so much we stayed an extra night.
Travel tip: The massage place a few doors down is fantastic. Get a body massage, it's extra relaxing on the 2nd floor where you can here the ocean waves!

Lovely little hotel, wonderful staff
Great location, nice clean rooms, friendly staff

This hotel is perfect for a short stay and we really couldn't fault it. Staff were very friendly and treated all guests like family. The breakfast was amazing also. Our room was very clean and bathroom was a good size. Small downsides for me is that the room is an indoors/ outdoors style that is typical of this area. The bathroom is covered but not enclosed which is the same with the room which is great for some but not for me as I get eaten alive by bugs! There is a big net covering the bed though which is needed. One big annoyance for us was the mosque which is near by. One day it just didn't let up at all with the chanting/ singing (which is over loud speakers). Very annoying when it wakes you at 5am then continues all day. Not the hotels fault though and can be heard across most of the island.
