Nice basic bungalow

Nice place out of busy area, very nice and helpful staff. Bungalows are basic (cold shower) but big and quiet. Great discounts on bicycles and snorkeling gear for guests. Breakfast was a bit small. Room was not cleaned during stay (3 nights). Can find better value for money in low season.
Restaurant Tip:
Can find amazing fresh fish at night market (10 min from accommodation), much better than 'sea-food bbq' and much cheaper!

I didnt like the bugs in the bathroom during the night as it was open air, but maybe that is just me not very familiar to open air living!
Restaurant Tip:
try the food they offer at the bungalows, it is quite cheap and local which you cannot easily find in gili t during the day cause everything is western like.

bungalows adorables idéalement situés

très beau petit hôtel avec 6 bungalows, les chambres sont grandes et propres, les lits sont équipés de moustiquaires, la salle de bains est spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est servi sur votre terrasse. L'hôtel a quelques transats sur la plage juste de l'autre coté de la route. Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique, et prêt à vous rendre service. L'hôtel est à quinze minutes à pied des activités de nuit, ce qui est pas plus mal, on est au calme.
Nightlife Tip:
tout est très bien organisé sur l'île, chaque soir, une soirée est organisée par un bar différent. L'ambiance est très bonne. après une journée de plage ou de plongée, on se retrouve tous autour d'une table

Très bonne équipe aux petits soins. Bungalow très confortable (seul bémol l'eau froide pour ceux qui n'aiment pas). A proximité de la plage, location de vélo et de matériel de snorkeling. Petit déjeuner standard manque juste un jus de fruit dans le menu. Assez retiré des nuits agités et également du haut parleur de la mosquée.

bungalow correct

bungalow un peu cher avec quelques puces de lit et moustiques mais heureusement il y a une moustiquaire c'est correct bungalow simple et propre on pensait que 1 semaine ça serait trop long pour une petite ile mais le staff est tellement super que l'on a pas vu la semaine passée!bateau nage avec les tortues des coreaux et poissos magnifiques!l'agence de tourisme a coté est a conseiller également trés pro pour le bateu ou réserver un vol!

prendre l'excursion des 3 iles en snorkelling ça vaut le coup

Perfect for Gili

Perfect for a gettaway as a couple. The bungalows are great, with lovely bathrooms and furnitures.

Go party at night after a day diving !

The very friendly staff gave us a fantastic stay. I even got a special "Flower & Light" surprise on my birthsday. We also had a memorable christmas with the staff and guests singing and playing gitar at the beach. Thank You!

Everyone had a smile there!!!

This was a great place to stay. On the quieter end of the main strip but walking to the busy part take 5 to 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Showers cold and only fans in the rooms but you get what you pay for here for sure. Loved it here and snorkelling is right in front of the place. Beach is a minute walk from the rooms not even and great places to tan and relax there.
Nightlife Tip:
close to the bars but far enough away you can relax and not hear too much noise at night.

Very friendly staff, but rooms smaller than expect

We were very friendly welcomed after arrival ! The bungalow was nice and clean, but much smaller as it looks on the pictures. After 2 Nights we choosed an other Hotel nearby. Over all its good value for the money at Gili Smile. But small and also quite many moskitos there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make the snorkling trip, you can book it directly by the hotel staff, its not expensive.

Decent place to stay

Had a nice enough stay here, though you might want to shell out for an air-con room (I don't know if this place has them) if you're not so keen on sleeping naked and sheetless; it's a tropical island and it gets hot. The manager and staff were great; friendly and helpful. The one black mark was having my board shorts stolen off the line outside the room. The manager was pretty upset that it had happened, and apologised profusely. He said they will have someone 'on site' for the whole night from now on to stop opportunistic locals from taking things that drying on the line outside the room. Other than that, a satisfactory stay, though our spoiled selves would probably look for somewhere with air-con if we were to go again. The room itself was tidy, clean, and tastefully designed, complete with a pseudo outdoor bathroom that was beautifully designed.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a bike around the island - it's great viewing. There's also good snorkelling off the beach right outside the bungalows. Also, bring bug spray; I was murdered by sandflies during my time on the island!
